This notice explains what Claim Value (“we”) collects when you use the claim calculator, why we collect it, and who receives it. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
What we collect
- Assessment answers. Your accident type, timing, injury and treatment answers, financial-impact ranges, and ZIP code. These are stored with a random identifier and are used to produce your estimate and for aggregate funnel statistics.
- Contact details, only if you request a case review. Your name, phone, email, and optional description. Viewing your estimate does not require contact details.
- Campaign data. Standard ad-campaign tags (UTM parameters) and your device type, so we know which advertising works. We do not place your answers or contact details into third-party analytics.
How your information is used
- To generate your preliminary estimate.
- If you request a free case review and authorize contact: to share your answers and contact details with a participating licensed attorney so they can contact you about your potential claim.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
Who receives it
Contact information is shared only with the participating attorney or law firm assigned to your case review, and with the service providers that host our infrastructure. We do not sell your personal information. If you do not request a case review, your contact details are never collected in the first place.
Your choices
- You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information.
- You may withdraw the optional marketing consent at any time.
- California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and correct.
To exercise any right, contact us at the email address published on this site. We verify requests and respond within the timelines California law requires.
Retention and security
Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled infrastructure in the United States. Assessment data without a case-review request is kept for aggregate reporting and then deleted on a scheduled basis.
